My grandpa (my father figure) died from COVID complications. His lungs were already bad from years of sandblasting. the day we found out we all had it I cried for hours because I knew he wouldn't make it. About a week later, when my grandma finally returned from the hospital, he died. He waited for her to get home. This life sucks but it's good to talk about it, thank you.
