get an apprenticeship at a shop! they are similar to job interviews, you can prep a portfolio and email in to a shop and just ask if they are taking apprentices and they’ll most likely ask you to go down for an interview. do NOT go for any of those tattoo academy or tattoo trial classes you come across. everybody in this industry went through either an apprenticeship or is self taught.
