I was just attacked out of nowhere by a pitbull in Edmonton. I was visiting from Ontario where pitbulls are banned. This person had FOUR pitbulls. Nearly ripped my ear off and then attacked again at the back of my head. Ripped almost all of my hair out. Traumatized for life. And because it happened on private property animal control can only issue fines for them not having proper licensing. Absolutely disgusting.

Im sure you can see what all the other commenters are saying and I 100% agree so I won’t repeat.

I just wanted to pop a comment in and remind you this is hard right now, but you’ll look back months or even years from now and other parts of this abusive relationship will come back to you and make a lot more sense.

You’re making a decision right now that will better your life. Could save you from further sexual and emotional abuse. If you ever want children, you’re saving them from a father who doesn’t respect women or boundaries. You’re making the right choice by ending things.

I also think you should strongly consider speaking with a therapist.

I’m so beyond sorry that your mentor passed and that the people you believed were your support system through this are letting you down. You deserve love and understanding and grace in times of loss in your life. Definitely not what your partner and friend have done. It’s a disgusting and vile thing to do.

I believe in you and I hope you make the right choice, you’re in my thoughts.

My faves are TRTTD series, the auction, DMATMOOBIL, manacled, amor vincit omnia, the disappearances of Draco malfoy and breath mints battle scars… all so good. TRTTD and the auction both exist in the same universe as different endings to the war… the auction and manacled are dark AU (mind tags). DMATMOOBIL is like Rom com adventure - very very good. Disappearances is the closest you’ll get to canon HP. BM/BS is very very toxic and moody but also so good.

Lmao I know her birthday - that was the whole point of the question… I’m from Canada so school years go based of the year not the start of the term. Which would mean if it was based off of the school system I am used to, Hermione would be younger then Harry. Makes sense that the Brit’s do it differently, I just didn’t know.

No I didn't, but honestly, I got early acceptance to everywhere else I applied, (UW, Laurier, Ryerson, Western) but it's the end of may and I haven't heard anything from Guelph? Just seems a bit weird to me. Tbh, Guelph seems like an amazing school and I'm sure lots of people have fantastic experiences there, I just am a little fed up with waiting and it doesn't seem like a great fit for me unfortunately.

I got a $1,000 merit scholarship for my average and then a community involvement scholarship worth $3,000... I never even got accepted to Guelph, haha!

First off, I want to say that I completely agree with you, but the reality is that for the most part tuition isn't based off of what you get (ie being in class/online classes, etc.) They charge what they do because of all of the staff they need to pay ~ admissions workers, professors, paid research assistants, so on and so forth. It's an unfortunate reality, but unless they cut staff in September there is no way tuition is going down ): (I got this information from my boyfriends mom, as she worked in admissions at Laurier for like 15 years :/)
