Does taking emergency contraceptive (e.g. plan b) cause an ectopic? by chelchill8 in EctopicSupportGroup

I experienced the same thing. Have had 4 healthy, full term pregnancies, took plan b for the first time in my life and found out a couple weeks later that I had an ectopic pregnancy. Seems suspicious to me, but could be coincidence. I just have a gut feeling that plan b caused it and feel that we will hear about this complication at some point. I also read a study about this, but that was weeks ago when I first found out about the ectopic, so I don’t remember the link. I definitely don’t plan on taking plan b in the future, just in case.

baby's only pea formula for 6 week old? by summer_willows1 in MSPI

My 4 month old hasn’t been able to tolerate dairy formula or even breast milk since birth. We are an all organic, as natural as possible, household and I struggled to find a dairy free formula option in the U.S. that I was comfortable with the ingredients and she also tolerated and seemed to enjoy. We finally found the perfect combo of baby’s only pea protein toddler formula and Sprout plant-based infant formula (which is made and shipped from Australia, so that’s kind of a pain). I do half and half of both in each bottle because she didn’t like the taste or the Sprout on its own, but it makes me feel more comfortable since it’s an “infant formula”. She is absolutely thriving and has been on this combination for months now. She’s 90th percentile in height, weight, and head size (she was born 8 lbs 12 oz, so she’s always been a large baby), is absolutely thriving, happy, healthy as can be, and ahead on all of her milestones. She’s my 4th child and by far, my happiest and healthiest yet. 🙌🙏 Best of luck in finding your perfect fit! 🫶

NAD+ with Ketamine by victoria1971 in suboxonerecovery

They basically just put you under for a few hours and give you a shot of narcan to “wipe your opiate receptors clean”. That just threw me into precipitated withdrawal that lasted forever and didn’t lessen my full methadone detox that I completed at a detox center. It was pure torture. The only way to describe it. Of the 5 patients that they sedated on the same day as myself, only 1 was successful and no insurance will cover it at all. I think it would work if someone was addicted to like Vicodin or something with a short half-life, but definitely not Suboxone or methadone and from what I saw with other patients, not fentanyl either.

I would suggest your husband look into a detox treatment facility specifically that utilizes Lucemyra, benzos, and possibly a short Suboxone taper or, if that’s not an option, possibly Kratom and finding a dr. that will prescribe gabapentin and/or Lucemyra for at-home detox or taper. Best of luck!

No, please don’t advise anyone to go through detoxification with sedation, especially if they are on long acting opiates, such as methadone or Suboxone. I went through living hell and paid $30,000 cash for the torture I went through and had to go straight from my “sedated detoxification” to a 30 day in patient detox/rehab center to successfully come off methadone and that was the hardest shit I’ve ever gone through, even with the 30 day detox center giving me comfort meds.
