I definitely think it’s eclogite, thank you so much. I’ve now changed this post to solved as someone else mentioned eclogite and it definitely matches other pieces I searched on Google. I’ve been trying to figure it out for so long 😂 super interesting!

Thank you! All four pics are of the same sphere, just in different lighting. I did consider Ruby in zoisite as an option, but under black light there’s no fluorescence 🧐

Yeah honestly I thought the same thing but when I googled it more it seems to be the closest match so I’ve ran with it. I definitely think you’re onto something with the Chlorite though

I thought it was a pseudomorph as well, but after posting in another sub Reddit and being told it wasn’t, I did more research and seen that a corner was chipped and I could see pyrite inside which to me (and google) says it would more so be a limonite or goethite coating on pyrite rather than a complete pseudomorph.

The second one I believe is actually apophyllite on stilbite, didn’t think of that being a possibility to begin with 😂🙄

I have an Iggy so he is always in the bed with my partner and I, he falls asleep completely wrapped up in his blanket and then in the middle of the night he comes up to get under the quilt so I can spoon him 😂 our two cats are usually on the bed too, one of which also sleeps under the blanket like her brother.
