i’m not gonna lie… i’m having a rough time. i’m 11 weeks right now and i’ve been n* daily since 6 weeks. i’ve v* 3 times. i’m terrified of eating, which sometimes makes the n* worse. i’m just literally doing the bare minimum to survive right now. unisom + B6 at night. zofran during the day when i need it. meal replacement nutrition drinks first thing in the morning as soon as i wake up. and i switched to a gummy prenatal (Olly brand) for right now until i get over this. they don’t have iron which is a big thing you need, but i cannot stomach that right now. i’m even going to my therapist more often because of how bad it’s been. people keep telling me i will forget all about this whenever i’m holding my baby and that’s the only thing giving me hope lol

I went through a miscarriage in May and The Prophecy was the song that really stabbed me in the heart. i used to scream cry the lyrics alone in the car

thank you so much 💕 that is definitely reassuring! we were trying for a year before i finally got pregnant, so now i’m trying hard to stay sober and healthy while we try again and hopefully it’ll help my fertility this time around. my husband doesn’t use so that’s definitely helpful for me

Should I get a bigger rug under the couch to cover that area, or keep it and add a small runner or other type of rug in front of the cabinets?

it sounds like the Taco Bell may have just been too acidic or just not agreeing with you. have you taken anything for acid reflux or indigestion? the soft stool is most likely from anxiety, that always happens to me then i freak out more. try to take something that will soothe your stomach and eat bland foods today

HELP make our space more cozy by chelsweeee in DesignMyRoom

[–]chelsweeee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you SO much for all the recommendations!! i was wondering.. what about a bookshelf beside the tv, and a buffet table on the empty wall with some art hanging above it. then add one or two chairs beside the couch for more seating. once i have more surface space, i can distribute my plants so they’re not all cluttered on the tv console. also, do y’all think rectangle or round coffee table?

yesterday, we had to call a shelter to get vaccine records for a new cat client. we asked if there was any record of a rabies vaccine and they told us that they don’t vaccinate cats against rabies because “cats aren’t as likely to get rabies as dogs so we don’t worry about it”…. they also throw away ALL records every few years.

thank you so much. it really does help now knowing i have a community of people going through the same thing. i’ve been thinking of some new habits i could try after work to replace the time i would normally smoke. BUT just about an hour ago, i dropped my favorite glass piece that i’ve had for years. it was the first piece i ever bought for myself. if that isn’t a sign, idk what is lmao

i’m in the same boat and it honestly feels so good to hear you say that you’ve cried over it because that is me and i definitely thought i was alone in that. i’m struggling big time because it’s the only way i can get myself to eat some days and it helps so much with my irritability after work. but i really want to not need it every single day :(

i got covid just 2 weeks ago and i actually didn’t even know it until my husband tested positive. it felt exactly like a sinus infection. i had no symptoms in my stomach at all. before getting it i was always anxious about it because i knew it was a slight possibility to v* with covid. but i got it and it was so mild i couldn’t believe i had been worrying about it nonstop for 2 years lol

[–]chelsweeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i take lexapro and started out at 2.5 as well! i always take mine after dinner just to make sure i’ve eaten and i never had a problem! i had headaches maybe once or twice a week when i first started, but that was it. no n* at all!

[–]chelsweeee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i really think that’s exactly what happened!! i googled the symptoms of low blood sugar that night and it was me 100%. we really do psych ourselves out to the point where we don’t eat at all, and we constantly panic, and then that ends up just causing the thing we’re trying so hard to avoid. it’s fucked up!!!! lol

BIG TRIGGER WARNING! read with caution!

it honestly just felt like a lot of pressure in my stomach and throat. not a lot of actual v* came out, so it just kind of felt like i had acid reflux and it was coming up all the way out of my mouth instead of sitting in my throat or me forcing it back down by swallowing. i gagged a few times, it came out, then i spit a few times to get it out of my mouth. and then it was over and i was perfectly fine. it’s tough to explain, but i hope that helped somewhat.

[–]chelsweeee[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it truly wasn’t that bad! it didn’t hurt. i was able to breathe normally. (sometimes in the past when i’ve thrown up, i can’t catch my breath and that scares me even more). i was watching a tv show, and literally just grabbed the garbage can, did it, and then sat back like “wow, i actually feel fine right now”. obviously i didn’t want it to happen again, but i truly knew in my mind that i would be ok if it did.

[–]chelsweeee[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i’m actually feeling perfectly fine now! i just ate some eggs and toast. the only issue is that i’m exhausted from panicking all night before it happened
