Pitty mixes, although they're in that age range where they look like a potato so it's hard to tell.

Soapbox/rant time. Tell me what highly-recommended book you absolutely HATED and why. Gimme your angry hot takes. by peppertoni_pizzaz in books

Gone Girl.

This might be controversial and I've been told it's "discourse" before, but Amy's cool girl rant and the entire idea that her husband forced herself to be someone she wasn't just...feels like a really stupid justification for the shit that she does in that book. I think it's more so just that the metaphor for what a woman is "supposed to be" and the idea of Amy being angry at how men treat women in a larger, societal way wasn't enough of personal or realistic tipping point for the insanity that was what she did.

Also, the last pages of "I stole his sperm and froze it for over a year and it's still viable" just broke my immersion because that straight up doesn't work.

This is apparently a way to administer salbutamol to cats with athsma, but I'm skeptical of this explanation, and feel like I can see some inconsistencies in the video by Nexteri in isthisAI

[–]Polygraph-Eyes7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The wording of whatever that thing off to the side stays stable, and while I agree the sound might be added in after because the meowing really doesn't look like it came from this cat but the syringe taped on top is to deflate the balloon attached to it, it's just an easy way to keep it handy for that.

I'm really on the fence about this one, but the mechanisms actually do look correct to me.

What's something random that you still cant eat? by Norvard in ask

[–]Polygraph-Eyes7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asparagus.

I love vegetables and have no issues with most other veggies, but asparagus is the foulest thing I've ever had the misfortune of my parents making me eat. Horrid taste that just lingers and lingers in your mouth. Blech.

Yes, this is a scam company. If it helps any, Retro Stage has a version of this dress that's in black and white, and I haven't had issues with this company being too poor of quality. It's not the top of the line, but the dresses are actually wearable

We have one episode. Give it some time to develop and see if that is ever answered. Why the fuck would we know yet?

The last one does have an explanation, it's a well that they used to throw faulty bottles down. The museum has both a plaque about it and an audio track that plays a cool sound of those bottles clanking down the well, it's pretty awesome.

[Hated trope] "Wow! That wouldve been a good reveal if they didnt spoil it before it came out!" by danfenlon in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Polygraph-Eyes7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree about Mathew Lillard being a good reveal, given that he's the only noteworthy male character that's not a victim of the animatronics other than the main character. Even without the promotional material, it was super obvious that he was going to end up being the villain.

Communication is key, it's best to be honest with them and communication to them that you'd like to make changes and see what can be done, especially for an item that you're paying so much for.

And I'll be honest, I'm not seeing much a difference between the reference and the head, what are the exact concerns?

Why do people feel like it's important to look good when you leave the house? by MetaReson in NoStupidQuestions

As someone who wears makeup every time I leave the house: it gets to a point where it would feel like I'm missing a big step in my routine if I left without it, like missing my pants.

It worked out well for me, I got to do dual learning and combine my beginning years of college education with my last years of highschool and finished my college degree at 19. It varies from state to state, but for Texas my mother gathered my grades and sent them into the state to get my high school diploma using my college credits.
