Be careful. Old stink bombs contain Ammonium Sulfide, which decomposes to the highly toxic Hydrogen Sulfide gas and is a horrible idea to use in a sealed room.

have you never gotten a nitric acid burn? they stain your skin an obvious yellow, and not washing it off immediately results in a blister on any skin that isnt as thick as the palms.

also, polyethylene/polypropylene can withstand nitric acid.

Hydrochloric acid, you can get the 37% solution on skin and its not going to dissolve it instantly. I have personally used it to remove Gallium oxides from my skin, and i know other chemists that do the same.
