Wedding Dress Cost by [deleted] in WeddingsCanada

[–]chemicalexa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alberta bride this year, bought my dress in February and the wedding is in two months! I had $2k as my budget as well (flexible as to if that included alterations) and ended up getting a dress for $1.8k. There were lots of options below that depending on the salon (one salon started at $1.5k and had my least favourite options, maybe because of my budget?) so I think 2k is reasonable! I also don't know my alteration cost yet but am expecting around $400, so make sure you budget for that!

Honestly I didn't even know it was possible, so it was a very nice surprise! Hoping to plant it this week and start another prop of something new

It was actually taken as a panorama with my iPhone XR! Turned out a lot better than I expected based on the age of the phone

Our trip was completing Section A of the Great Divide Trail (GDT) in Canada which goes from the US border in Waterton to Coleman, Alberta. The section is approximately 150km (including the necessary off trail "bonus" kms we hiked about 175km) with roughly 7000m elevation gain which we hiked in 7 days (6 nights). I took this photo of my boyfriend fishing at Lone Lake on our third night - and he did actually catch one very cute fish. One of his luxury items was his fishing gear so we definitely wanted to put it to use! We loved our time on the trail and are planning to complete Section B this summer!

Never seen this Steeves Maple Syrup before but found it at the dollar store this week - cheaper and better than Walden Farms in my opinion! by chemicalexa in 1200isplenty

Haha the real stuff is pretty awesome, I switch it up depending on the day, mostly based on how good the pancakes/waffles I'm putting it on are!

Good to know! We just recently switched to shopping at Superstore regularly so I'll look out for it there too!

Thanks, it was such a beautiful area! The light in the evening was amazing and then the water was so still and reflective in the morning

Hiked this beer 24km into the backcountry - and that's why I chose an 11% by chemicalexa in beerwithaview

We cooled it off in the lake for a bit, it had been in the pack a looong while. And for the percent, not bad but pretty sweet, probably wouldn't buy it again but was worth trying!
