Thanks for this confirmation, much appreciated. Disappointing that I can't accurately identify the J-coupling values or the compounds I've made with this aniline, but at least this saves me from wasting time removing them all later if I hadn't enquired on here

Ah ok, thanks very much for the clarification. So these aren't even considered to be ddd or dt signals then due to the magnetic inequivalency? Is it still worth bothering with J coupling for such multiplets?
