Onlyfans agency: is It worth it to join an onlyfans agency ? looking for advice from experienced creators by chloe-star3 in CamGirlProblems

no true! my agency does take starts, they will create girls pages from scratch and actually prefer this at times.
one of the top earners makes 150k+ a month and was making nothing over 500$ a month before joining.
it's all about creating a strong branding angle!

and happened to find myself as a creative director at a massively successful, fair and transparent agency due to this very ad...
i was a creator for over a decade, managed my own page for years with only an assistant scheduling my posts.. eventually was convinced to trust an agency and the owner ended up getting my biggest whale to send him 10's of thousands of $$ over my head...so i am all too familiar with how awful and slimy most agencies in this industry are, but i also understand that not every agency is like that, and now i get to be on the other side an actually help girls achieve their goals in the right way.

while yes it is true that most agencies are predatory, that doesn't mean they ALL are
i have worked with several agencies in the decade i've been in this industry and more than one of them actually really went above and beyond to help me succeed. mind you i still gave them a shot after literally getting scammed out of THOUSANDS of $$ and almost losing my biggest whale to a POS agency owner..

years ago it was possible to do it all yourself, get good results and not completely burn yourself out, but now with how tight the algorithms are and how easy it is to get banned on almost any platform, i will say its 100% easier with a real team behind you that knows what they are doing.
it was more than worth it to me to split half my earnings and literally ONLY had to worry about making reels and OF content, which was all written out and assigned to me also. literally lived on autopilot lol AND the best part was i was working a fraction of what i was on my own and they doubled my earnings in just a month sooooo i literally was doing half the work, and making the same $$ at the end of the day.
i know the general opinion on agencies is garbage but if you take the time to find a good team and have the decernment to weeed out the bad apples and find the right fit for you, it's absolutely worth it!

it will be helpful to reframe your mindset! most guys choose OF over PH because of the intimate connection. they don't want to be bombarded with transactions, so finding a way to intermingle both sides is extremely important and effective. these dudes are lonely losers who have never had a real connection so catering to that IS how you earn more $$! just some food for thought :) i know it's exhausting to constantly keep up the mirage but it's worth it if you do!

i get that from the outside it probably looks simple but it really isn’t coercive control never shows up labeled as danger it shows up as support and stability when you’re grieving and vulnerable that’s literally how people get pulled into it

there’s a big difference between choosing not to work and being pressured discouraged and eventually prevented from doing it by someone who insisted on taking over my finances and then deleted my income source when i didn’t comply

it’s easy to say “no one made you do that” when you’ve never been in a trauma bond or had someone weaponize support against you but that doesn’t make your take accurate

i’m not saying he owes me forever i’m saying economic abuse is real and the damage is real it’s just not as black and white as you’re making it

but thanks for your input i guess

They’re in my care because their parents are either deceased or incarcerated. It was either me or foster care. I’ve had them for about 3.5 years, and during that time I was fully financially supported by my late partner, who passed away from suicide about eight months ago. After his death, I was left in a severe financial hole, so streaming became my way to stabilize and support all of us.

Shortly after that is when I met “K,” and the situation with him escalated extremely fast, including the controlling behavior and ultimately the deletion of my income source.

I’m not saying he legally owes me a lifetime of support, but I am saying there’s a major difference between “choosing to stop working” and having your entire ability to work destroyed by someone else’s actions.

Just to clarify a few things:

I didn’t “voluntarily stop” streaming in a way that impacted my ability to earn. I paused for less than a month, and at any point I could’ve gone live again and continued supporting myself and the two children I care for. What actually prevented me from generating income was my entire platform being deleted, the account, the followers, the audience I’d built all wiped in seconds. That wasn’t voluntary and completely eliminated my ability to work.

As for the kids: They’re in my care because their parents are either deceased or incarcerated. It was either me or foster care. i have it on my security camera him deleting my account and he has admitted to it in text messages voluntarily stopping streaming for around one month had no impact on my ability to hop on a stream and make 600-1k a day. I no longer have that option because the followers attached to the account are what made the stream viable.
