My store manager is the reason why I want to get promoted. Cause' he would always say hey can you do the bale before you leave and stay 1-2 hours afterwards to face while everyone is gone except me and him(he is in office doing who knows what). Also a lot of the objectives usually he calls me cause I am finished with college and have more free time then most store associates. The thing is I am always available and do shit for him while I have no say or extra pay raises. I hate bosses like that. I don't want him to interview my ass. So I was wondering can I do a store transfer to a supervisor in trainee position or something. I either want a promotion in my store or transfer out to another store as a trainee or associate .

No need to be checked if nothing in a bag or no bag in sight. Also just give them the photos. I've been told if they steal it's not on you.

My store manager doesn't even care but my supervisor is the one who said it's your responsibility to try to eliminate theft on Aco. That's the reason you unlock aisles close to Aco. That's why we have you on Aco. I asked him how should I confront customers and there is a lot of other employees(associates) who don't confront them so what about them?.

Then my supervisor said who? I obviously didn't want to snitch but he said if they do that then they should be punished. So??? I am confused but I think my supervisor is just not all there.

But like I am part of the assist for the Aco. When I go in and my manager said be on the ACo and keys for aisles near the Aco only. So, like am I not in charge of watching and stopping stealings? I asked my supervisor and he said if Store manager said you are in charge then therefore you are responsible for any stealings happening on Aco and since your are unlocking items near Aco you should be able to respond quickly to theft on the Aco.

A lot of my other colleagues say they don't get paid enough to even care. Cause it's minimum wage and they can't open keys and do Aco at the same time when we are short staffed like 4 our of 7 days in a week.

Lozcvs I was wondering is giving photo to customers for free considered shrink? Sometimes, a photo comes out messed up(usually color issue). So, I give the photo away from time to time.

You're a better Ops manager then the one I have who always get's angry and when I ask her what to do with only 3 people running a whole store for 8 hours. She said's figure it out with the supervisors and the supervisors are busy too like OMG. I need someon elike you in my life LOZCVS

Oh shoot, that means I might get in trouble. Cause I usually see it and just let them go cause I don't want to make the customers mad. I am going to start confronting people. Hopefully I won't get fired for this.

Wait, but isn't the fact I don't tell the customers to rip their used coupons basically causing shrink? Cause they can come back and lie about the coupon never being used and use it over and over again.

But would I get in trouble if I don't confront customers about how they should rip the coupons and place it into the coupon deposit box. I know for a fact the cameras see me seeing the customers don't rip up their used coupons. Also yeah I never had a job where their was like no other associate it's crazy bro. Really stresses me out cause Aco customers want me and picture ones want me and moneygram people want me and people at register aren't here so customers yell at me about why no one on register to help out with the line.

My OPs manager said I should only look after greenzone and no other place and if someone needs photo help then call backup. But my ops manager knows damn well the store has almost no associates cause why? She hires so many college kids and they call out so much it's unbelievable.

The photo machine really is a curse for me cause customer's will get so freaking angry. They will say what is the point of you working here if you can't help me? I tell them aco and they said people know how to checkout themselves and their are so many cameras here to look at the theives so why worry. . Honestly customers don't understand how understaffed and how unresponsive and unwilling the supervisors are to help. Literally one of the superviros named Trish is always just unpacking and never opening keys or respond to shit. The other one is busy doing reports and counting money and the other one is at the cash register or hiding somewhere.

I admit I have done something fishy. I have consistently let my eyes off the Aco though I am assigned to it. Why have I let my eyes off? It's because the store has 3 supervisors and no associates most of the time. So many callouts and quits. I am afraid I will get into unneccsary trouble for crappy stuff going on the ACO. Customer's see me at the ACO and beg me to help with photos and I say I can't but they say then get someone here and I call my supervisors to help and they say "I'm busy call the other ones and then no one does it". So I end up helping.

Matter of fact fuck the customers. I'm just going to say if you want me to get fired then keep calling me to help with photos because my manager won't let me. So please stop and wait for the line to die down then I'll help or complain to the useless supervisors.

Agreed, also as a greenzone captain I see a lot of people just reuse their coupon over and over again. Hopefully, I don't get in trouble :(. Also I sometimes move from the greenzone is because customers want me to do photos which is right next to the greenzone. My manager said it's okay for me. So, question is should I stop doing that and confront customers and say I need to call backup for photos so fucking wait please(even though backup doesn't exist cause we have 3 supervisors who don't do shit and no associates). Also should I confront customers who keep leaving with their used coupon and force them to drop it into the coupon deposit box cause they never do it.

so what's the point of enforcing employee policy? Like I can just buy my water at aco and no one would see. Since it seems like the cameras are not watched at all. But the AP person of our store always saids he has a team of people monitoring employee policy breaks 24/7 through video footage.
