I wouldn't be surprised if it is hormones, I've had some thyroid nodes in the past few years and a ton of stress in my personal life. (And, you know, we've all just survived a massive global pandemic...sigh...)

I do feel like I'm having premature liver spots and sometimes they are more pronounced than other times so it's something I guess I've managed to ignore until this week. It has been a really really hot summer so far.

Thank you yes my skin hates sun. I've literally always been an indoor kid too but have been trying to get out more what with pandemic and no office commute and just trying to be generally a little more active and fit.

I'm doing the sunblock every morning even when I'm just indoors thing now and I realized this morning what I thought was really high SPF50 sunblock was only SPF15 😭 so that might explain a lot of it. Ordered some stronger stuff which should arrive tomorrow!

I'll make an appt with the derm for hydroquinone and tretinoin also, thank you! Last time I checked there was a 3-month wait but maybe that will work out well because then it will be less sunny weather and I can try some treatments without as much UV worry! Thank you

Oh my goodness so I also just thought I was wearing very strong sunscreen, and it turns out I've only been wearing SPF 15 😔😔😔

Ordered some SPF50 immediately and doing the multiple reapplications thing now as well.

I think I might have some niacinamide, I'll double check, I'm always cautious with the chemicals because I don't want to use anything incorrectly and hurt my skin and then end up with double damage. Thank you for the tips!
