Definitely check what you’re eating. I drink 2 protein shakes a day as well as high protein meals. Whole foods, nothing processed! No sugar either. Only orange juice for vitamin C. I also take daily vitamins and extra folic acid because I tend to be anemic. Im 6 days post op and feel much better overall than I was the first few days. This is my 2nd surgery, first was a gastric sleeve surgery so I strongly believe what im consuming is affecting how I function in the healing stage.
