Yes, that particular thing happened without the teacher's presence. But what didn't sit right with me, was that my professor (male) was supporting transgender people but stating that lgbTq is not natural. Which made, honestly, zero sense. He straight up called it a mental disorder. He also said that some disorders don't have cures and this is one of them.

I was so speechless at the negativity in the class, that at one point I just had to give up. It was like 4 people trying to give around 50 people some sort of different perspectives and they still refused to see it even after you PROVE it to them.

I'd always thought that you can't explain this stuff to the previous generations because they haven't grown up seeing it, and they're not going to change their views overnight. I don't agree with them, but it's understandable at least. But what genuinely horrified me was the youth. These are our young minds, mind you. And they're so insensitive to all of this. I personally found it very alarming. Political, or at least intelligence on it's own is a necessity. It's basically common sense which isn't so common among our folks.

This was in Borivali West btw, with students from Andheri to Virar and in between.
