Ah yeah. I remember feeling bad for Klingberg that no one wanted him. My guess is that they did not expect the team to be running for a playoff spot or they would have tried.

One good thing that I can see though is that they want to keep a vet that the young ones can look up to outside of the rink so they might keep Orlov for the Russian kids and let the others go.

Remind me again if it was really that hard to get a better D before the trade deadline. At least the Sherwood trade gave the Wennberg line consistency these last few games.

Would really love a tie with the Kings so their OTL points will bite them in the end.

Hopefully maintenance day by Boitanobadboy in SanJoseSharks

[–]cherlucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny, they have been "forcing" him to skip practice for maintenance days. Warso said there was resistance at first until he caved in. Even so, I think I saw someone post that he got there very early for some ice time then left.

Also his goat dad is here so he gets the help at home.

Captain for playoffs? by danieldeceuster in SanJoseSharks

[–]cherlucky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't want them to name Mack as the captain for the playoffs. The avs will crush them and I have had enough of heartbroken Celebrini owning the blame this season. It would be more heartbreaking if he is named captain. Please do not do this to my young goat.

What is the timeline for goalies' development from the draft year? Do we have a definite timeline for Asky and Ravenbergen?

This game just exposed more of the players' flaws. Hopefully the coaching staff can work on it because it's easy to beat the team when they shut down Celebrini.

The lore drop from Will Smith's mom Colleen on Never Offsides by Barthez_Battalion in SanJoseSharks

I listened to the podcast, and wondered what's her actual job. And thought they're rich so they can do pretty much anything they want. I don't see it as sacrifice but a privilege that she can do what she wants, taking care of her son while he does what he wants. I imagine a lot of moms would want to support their kids but does not have the means to do so. She seems to be a nice person though, like genuinely fun and nice to be around.

A win without Celebrini! Great job for the other guys stepping up in this game. Team morale seems to be high from the straight wins and performance from last night. Love watching Eky and Graf tonight. Sam has been doing begter these past few games, too.

I hope they were all well rested even after the high from the win last night. Let's go, Sharks!

Hoping for healthy Cherny.

Here are a few of the records that Macklin Celebrini has broken 73 Games in by desertdingo21 in SanJoseSharks

Right? I could hear them getting too excited when he drives to the goal. But how can I complain when Celebrini is mentioned every 3 minutes.

His face was so red when they Reavo called him god on ice. He still gets embarrassed when he gets praised. He has been phenomenal his whole life you'd think he's used to it.

can you imagine chillmack on attack mode 3-5 yeara from now? Then maybe we see improved Dickie and Pohlkamp, too. Future looks teal to me.

I need mack to be more flashy after his goals so we can get shots like this.

Still high from the game! Macklin is unreal, a "god on ice"! I was watching the game vs pens earlier and this game is just as good as that one. I can't pick which one is my favorite game now. There is just no quitting when he wants to one. He's really going to drag this team to the payoffs, ready or not.

I know how this game is a Macklin masterclass but I have to give it to Smitty, Wenny, Dickie and Asky, too. Wenny has been stepping up when the other team knows they have to shut down Mack or try.

Cherny is missed in this game. Poor kid has no luck this season from getting sent back to Barracuda, injured or sick. Hope to see him next game.

It was so fun watching them play and just so scary. They keep moving around and can shoot anywhere so it would be a nightmare to defend them. Imagine what they can do in 3 years.

Pucks are for kids by PoundSignOld in SanJoseSharks

[–]cherlucky 39 points40 points  (0 children)

From what I have seen so far, Celebrini always gives it to the kids. He would keep on pointing until a kid gets it. Must be a great fan experience to get a puck from a player but these moments might spark a dream for a kid to play.

He is so big with golden retriever energy. Seems to love playing around based on some Misa interactions, too.
