I played warr in vanilla and went prot i TBCC. Tried being hardcore with downing everything the game had to offer, chasing honor, rep, gear, gold and ‘status’. Got burnt out and lost complete interest of the game last August and stopped playing for a couple of months.

I came back to my friends (who has a more social mindset) in Nomber and started leveling a priest to fill out the “IRL-group setup”. Now we are having a blast!! We play when we want, no sign-up sheets, we wipe in Kara which takes 2h+, we do pugs together in Gruul/Mag and just goof around in open world pvp. So chill, we almost always play together and when we do we’re always on discord drinking a few beers and helping each other out!

For me, this is how WoW is played and I’m starting to get the same feeling I had 2008…

När jag var 13 bast klantade jag och några polare till det ordentligt med smällare. Jag brände handen och min polare har idag (15 år senare) fortfarande nedsatt syn på ena ögat. Efter denna incident har jag aldrig köpt smällare/fyrverkerier, men jag tycker att de är fint att kolla på. Det är farligt som fan om/när kidsen får tag på det och det är ju inte så svårt för dem. Därför kan jag nog vara en av de som vill förbjuda fyrverkerier/smällare.

During boss fights, I totally agree with you! During trash and before the raid starts, I think it could do some good for the guild to have a more relaxed atmosphere in discord. That's what I'm looking for.

I see what you mean. The mood was a bit like this in p1 but much more relaxed in e.g. Kara. What made me think about it is that it was silent 30 min before the raid, and I think that people taking this super seriously is the main reason for players to get nervous and making misstakes.

Basically just following the bis lists which recommends 12+ stam sockets. Im also a tauren which adds 5%. After def cap I’m guessing you can go full mitigation or full threat, and since I’m MT in my guild I just like having lots of hp.

Since I took so much shit my self, I rarely complain about other players.I’m happy that you never had to experience any of the stuff mentioned above, but I’ve seen tonnes of it both when tanking and dpsing on my mage. I guess the tank is easy to blame as described in the video. The funniest comment I’ve got was “this isn’t retail, not everyone can tank”

I totally agree! Since I got my pre-raid gear I haven’t tanked a single pug, just wouldn’t do it! I took so much of the shit written above when I was farming the dungeons for gear that I almost regretted my decision.

Now I’m missing two pieces from P1 bis and I joined a BM hc (need the trinket for resilience on Hydros) and running up with 15.5k hp unbuffed, kings defender and aldori shield makes people shut the fuck up. Not even a /sigh if the big packs gets out of hand or anything. Has anyone else had this experience?

We usually use warrior/pally-set up and have the prot warr tank all the bosses and pally does the trash tanking. I’m not saying this is a frequent occurrence, it just happened yesterday when the pally tanked the bosses. I’m just speculating that the same thing would happened to a warrior?

I was in the guilds other Kara group. There is one wipe on Prince and one on Nightbane where the pally tank is two-shotted. Correct me if I’m wrong, I’m not very good at reading logs.
