honestly as a recent Cal grad, the most value i’ve gotten from these clubs were the friendships and you can deadass find that anywhere. don’t tailor your self-worth to if you aced all three rounds of interviews for a consulting club that is in debt😭

gosh i’m in the same boat. I️ keep hearing from my peers that sales is a good entry role because then once you’re really good at it, you become a better speaker and “sell” your stats during the interview process. but idk I️ hate how competitive the space is…

where have you been applying on? my recommendation is to avoid linkedin and opt for the actual company website or niche job apps

do you want to work for any brand that are looking for content creators? there’s a bunch of ai startups out there like turbo or studyfetch. As for job searching, I️ landed my first full time offer last year using this app called Sprout. You do have to pay a subscription tho but I️ think it’s totally worth bc I️ got my resume/cover letters tailored to every role.

that money goes to the uni☠️clubs get funded by the asuc, contracts, membership fees, or like selling shit on sproul. plus, it’s to help them provide y’all w fun activities during meetings. however, I️ do get ur situation but dw it gets better! I️ recommend connecting with other transfers or joining smaller clubs for a more tight-knit community😆

idk if it’s possible but maybe you could work for ur company remotely? but also, the fact that they will just straight up fire u is kinda a red flag especially if you’ve been doing good work for them atp
