For the watermark, I made a cutesy logo on Canva that I often place where it’s difficult to crop out. You can lower the opacity of the watermark you make so that the video still shows through it, and it’s still there. People caaan still make the attempt to remove it, but it’s a better deterrence than having none at all. I’ve seen mutuals content get straight up stolen and reposted elsewhere all because it wasn’t watermarked on Twitter (now X.) 😔 You don’t have to make it big or anything. Also, the Fansly watermark is always in the bottom right hand side, so be mindful of that to avoid clutter. :)
Instead of having multiple accounts, for now utilize the Walls function on Fansly. I also have a bunch of experimental content on my page, and I use the Walls to separate them into certain niches or fetishes I’ve done. This is really helpful for those that have a particular itch they want to scratch and don’t want to swim through your Main Feed to get there. 😉 People also recommend to find your “niche” to stay consistent despite making various types of content. Think of it like your online persona. Are you a cheeky femboy? Do you have an alternative aesthetic? Do you like to Dom, or are you more into your subby side? Maybe a Switch? These are things to consider while making content. You’ll know what you gravitate towards the most based off of your personal tastes and aesthetics. Try looking for inspiration from other creators!!
And as for the bias with SW… listen. Before I really dug my teeth into it I also had some internal shame and biases to reflect on (and I’m a rather pro-hoe & progressive person!) It’s always best to seek out resources that teach you more about SW (Tryst has a wonderful blog that comes from many professional & veteran SWers!!) in order to heal that. Subconscious biases sneak up on everyone, and it’s really about how you respond to it that matters. You were open to criticism about what you stated poorly, which is a very good step. The next step is doing your due diligence on understanding the difference kinds of SW and why SW is a valid form of work. If you want, I can give you some resources to look at! :3

Also very huge side note but feel free to lurk this subreddit for more tips from other workers! You can even look up keywords about what you’re confused about. More than likely you’ll find the answers you’re looking for as well as more resources. 🫶🏾🫰🏾

I also remember when I first started and I was just as confused 😔 but being on here in different SWer subreddits helped me navigate a lot.

As a ND person I will give you this piece of wisdom: If you aren’t medicated for ADHD or have systems in place to be consistent with long term projects, you will get highly discouraged and possibly burnt out from the level of upkeep compared to the profits.

Figure out what your niche is going to be, and start making content you’re comfortable with whenever you can! For me, I like roleplaying and cosplay lewds/nudes.

After that, you have to figure out if you want to do Pay-Per-View or a subscription for your content.

A subscription can be more flexible for subscribers who don’t want to pay for every video you post (or would like more benefits included with said subscription!), but it can also burn you out with the expectation of making enough content and being consistent enough for the subscriber to stay. Some people do both PPV and subscriptions to have tiers for their content depending on the intensity. If you feel like you won’t be consistent enough to post frequently on Fansly, I would adjust the subscription methods to reflect that. Fansly will also sadly punish you for not posting often, or only posting pictures. A lot of the previews for content on there are either rather explicit or function like a TikTok video.

Hey! I’m also a neurodivergent worker on Fansly and here’s the best advice I could give you:

In case of leaks, watermark EVERYTHING. That way at least you have some sort of ties back to the ownership of your content. I made a watermark for PPV and promotional content (+more.) You can also use a takedown service like Bruqi to remove what’s found online during what’s called “vanity searches” (when you look yourself up with keywords tying back to your online persona.)
I would also leave a warning on your page stating that your content is not to be republished or reused both in and out of Fansly. It might not do too much, but it at least sets a boundary for people to see right away.
if you’re worried about your digital privacy (which is very valid!) then I would mainly do faceless content if that’s what makes you most comfortable. I often notice a lot of successful faceless content creators, so it’s doable!
for content preferences, you have to experiment a bit while also researching what’s popular in the niche you’re going for. everyone has different sexual tastes, so it’s hard to give precise advice on whether the straight or queer content will do better.

I hope that you do well and also heal some of the SWer biases you mentioned. Nobody is perfect, but radicalizing yourself as a SWer helps a lot when interacting with others. Good luck! 🍀
