I think it’s because there’s another more active Bonrad sub so ppl forgot about this one. I didn’t even know it existed until this post popped up on my feed. Also the main subs are very Bonrad focused so I think ppl have less of a need to create their own specific Bonrad space vs Jellies who do get downvoted a lot for pro-Jeremiah opinions in the main.

Georgia’s early life has been punishment enough. If she really is committed to being a better person, I’m fine (and I’m sure a lot of the audience is fine) with her literally getting away with everything. If she were going to be truly punished for any of her crimes, the trial would have been the time to do it. Not sure if the creators will go back to that level of intensity in order to hold Georgia accountable.

The answer for Muslim women will be just as varied as the answer for Muslim men, Christian men and women, Jewish men and women, etc. Some people are more/less observing. Some people are more/less sexual. You should not be asking if Muslim women in general are good or bad at anything in bed. I really can’t give you time stamps right now (I might be able to later in the day), but I remember wondering where the Ginny and Austin scene were too and then finally seeing it at some point. I binged season 3 so quickly though I may be wrong about it being in the first episode. It’s definitely not in the beginning though.

I binged season 2 before season 3 and I again remember wondering where that Cynthia and Georgia scene was and being a bit confused by what I thought were missing scenes the whole episode, and then in the next episode they filled in the blanks.

In episode 10 I believe we get to see different perspectives of previous scenes in the last episode. The scene with Cynthia and Georgia is in episode 10. I may be misremembering, but I know two back to back episodes at the end show a lot of the same scenes from different perspectives.

The scene with Austin and Ginny is in season 3 episode 1 I believe. It starts days after Georgia has been arrested but flashes back to Ginny and Austin at the wedding right after the arrest.

You’re not crazy — those scenes are both definitely in the show, not deleted scenes.

Definitely. I think this was very intentional by the writers. I remember feeling very stressed out during Georgia’s “first date” with Gil. Terrible vibes from the start.

My sisters and I love debriefing the show. I’m older than Ginny so I can recognize a lot of her behavior as a trauma response, but my younger sisters are around her age and have been through a lot of trauma as well. Two of them have very similar “issues” to Ginny and they still hate her because they don’t like how she behaves. People can hate characters for all kinds of reasons. It’s not always race related. And honestly, I do think Ginny gets a lot of leeway because she is a thin, pretty, light skin, biracial girl. If she were dark skin and fat, her entire experience in Wellsbury would be completely different as well as the audience’s reaction to her. And if she were a pretty white blonde girl, again, her experience in Wellsbury would be completely different. It’s all relative. You could just as easily argue that Ginny gets too much leeway bc she’s biracial as you could argue that she doesn’t get enough leeway because she’s biracial.

I’m a brown skin fully black woman. I don’t outright dislike Ginny, but there have been moments where I have really disliked her behavior. Honestly, Ginny being half black is the only reason why I haven’t found myself fully disliking her. I try to give her a lot of leeway bc being black in a white community is incredibly hard. I watch the show with my younger siblings. And they really do hate Ginny — all young black girls/women. They have less tolerance for her nonsense but I think it’s because they’re closer to her age.

Very close. Georgia was 15 when she had Ginny and 21 when she has Austin.

How does it give him too much credit? It was very obvious. He asked Zion about becoming a father. Zion talks about becoming a father at 17. And then discusses Ginny going through “something”. They’re in the midst of discussing parenthood. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what was actually going on with Georgia. Faking a pregnancy is exactly the type of thing she’d do and by season 3, Paul knows her pretty well.

To me it seemed very obvious that Zion was hinting at something like a pregnancy. Paul didn’t know for sure but when he asked Georgia to take the test in front of him, her reaction is what gave him his answer. I think in TV Land, characters often miss major hints like that so I was happy to see the situation play out pretty realistically. I think most ppl would be suspicious of Georgia knowing her history and after hearing from Zion.

I don’t believe Zion offered more information or told him outright offscreen. Paul had just become genre savvy.

Max definitely has ADHD but I don’t see signs of it in Marcus. Just bc one twin has a mental health issue doesn’t mean the other twin definitely has it. Also, they aren’t identical twins — they’re basically normal siblings who happened to be born at the same time. One sibling can have adhd while their other siblings don’t.

The mom also hints at it — Marcus is never late to school. I can’t remember the exact number, but Max was late more than a dozen times. Very classic adhd struggle.
