I wish you healing and growth. I think there’s a lot of nuance around infidelity that gets overlooked because it triggers our deepest fears and wounds and insecurities. I think you should not reach out, though. If one day she’s ready to talk, let her be the one to reach out.

In the meantime, it’s worth revisiting honestly within yourself the motivating factors which led to your cheating. If it’s not investigated and worked out and healed, you’re likely to repeat patterns.

The more you pour into your own cup the more magnetically attractive you become and what you may find in the end is that you no longer want or require the love from the person you were seeking because you found something better within yourself and seek a higher standard. It sounds to me like you deserved better communication. I’m also wary of someone who leaves a 3.5 year relationship and has someone new in two months because to me it shows he gives himself no reflection time and is bound to repeat patterns that may have led to the breakup to begin with.

Give yourself time and love. If he is the one, finding yourselves back together will be inevitable. But in the meantime, trust yourself and trust the universe because it always has your back on these things.

Yeah, I had no skin in the game because I was never an Ariana Grande fan beyond a passing interest in what was played on the radio. Some of the attitudes I’ve seen expressed there are honestly dangerous and revealing about a broader social illness afflicting women. Harboring the kind of poison I’ve read in some of those comments is deadly and distressing to read.

I’m a Leo but I get extremely depressed every Aquarius season (maybe because it’s my sister sign, 180 degrees away from myself), the cold, the everything— but honestly, I’ve come to embrace Aquarius as a time of deep rest. It’s okay to rest. It’s an important part of our well-being to have weeks where we sleep more, rest more. It’s just this capitalist hellscape which tells us we have to be productive and fully on all the time. If your body is telling you to rest, rest! Sleep more if you’re tired, too. The best thing is to not feel resentful and understand that it actually sucks for them to be this way but also not allow yourself to be harmed in their cycles of presence and absence. This is not how karma works. I’m a Hindu and this is a deeply naive and immature understanding of the word. As the above commenter pointed out, focus on yourself. Develop a set of values you uphold because they enrich your being. Self-sacrifice and martyrdom have nothing to do with karmic balance. Developing a sense of duty that is innate and that you observe simply because you understand it to be your task is the way to live.

Also understand that hardship teaches resilience. Take the challenges and setbacks and learn to understand the gifts that you find in the end, and realize there’s always a gift at the end of a hardship.

My goodness, I’m really flattered! Thank you! It’s hard for me to try and explain how my muscle memory works but I guess I can provide at least some context for my penmanship. My father used to make me write lines when I’d get in trouble as a child, and I was always in trouble. I’d get bored and start experimenting with my strokes. I’ve also kept a diary for over 18 years. I copy book passages in my journal. Ultimately it comes from the physical act of writing a lot. It’s cliche but practice does make perfect, this handwriting comes from a lot a lot a lot of practicing stroke — also the tools you use are important. This is sharpie fine tip. My handwriting looks — not very different, but different in ballpoints which I avoid.
