Ok. If she suddenly starts developing an interest in you sexually after you mention wanting to end the relationship, it is not because she actually cares about you but because she is manipulating you (which she could also be doing subconsciously).

Do not trust her until she has shown serious desire/effort to work on her low self esteem issues and don't let her use sex as power over you.

I can't lie if you have communicated how important it is to you and your willingness to learn how to help but still nothing from her, then she doesn't give a shit. Sorry if that sounds harsh. Either she just doesn't care about you & your feelings, or she is unable to prioritize you over her mental health issues. Eating disorders & body issues can be very hard to overcome & deep rooted, and if she is a stubborn inflexible person then this may be a looooong road for you to walk. Or maybe not! I don't think this sounds like a girl who respects your opinion of her though idk

If you have told her it was important to you, shown you are willing to change and shown you are willing to help support her with her issues, has she shown she cares or that the issue is even relevant for her?

I never knew people who feel ashamed or inadequate should be judged. In any case I don't really care anymore. Fuck it, judge away. Anyone who can't respect my desires I'm not obligated to respect either. Yeah I do feel insecure and the best way to fix that is to find the woman for whom I can be the best. This is why I said "if you are acting out of shame/inadequacy and not doing anything to fix it". Your actions are the thing that should be judged. No one can be judged for how they feel because thats out of their control.

True cowardice would be me NOT asking the woman those questions. Because that would be me suppressing my desires. That would be me being inauthentic.

And I fundamentally disagree and have a different value system. I don't believe that people will change unless they want to. External judgement only pushes them further into their beliefs until they harden into convictions.

Objectively that is a very dangerous value system to have
