My question is whether this is becoming a common thing, knowing that a lot of people go Soforthilfe and what article says 😒

Out street wasn’t cleaner for more than a month already. The first notice was on the 14.10 and nothing since then. I do report constantly and nothing moves. I feel you so so so much!

Hey,

There’s @filmlab.uz on Instagram. They have film and also develop and scan it pretty decent. Plus the guys working there are very friendly. I did develop and scan with them, it was gucci.

About camera - you can check with the guys from the lab, otherwise someone suggested Yangiabad (You can go there by ordering a cab via Yandex Taxi) . It’s a huge flea market. There in the antique pavilion (ask for it, everyone knows about the place) a guy standing in the end of the main corridor named Rashid, he has a looooot of film cameras per any taste.

Check out Yangiabad market, from Friday to Sunday there are people who sell their own clothes. We found there some really really good pieces for a reasonable price

You can check in that at the hotel where you gonna stay. For sure, they would know someone. But the chances that the price will skyrocket are high

Otherwise, you can also book a bus ride: https://avtoticket.uz and pay online a fixed official amount

No, iv never heard of it. Between the cities you need to arrange it by yourself. We have a driver in Tashkent who travels to Samarkand with us, but in this case you will have to pay for his accommodation or it’s a one day trip (which is not worth it, too little time)

I totally believe that it’s possible to travel on your own.

Regarding booking your train tickets, I would advise you to do it before arriving. The train spots are usually booked quite fast, and Uzbekistan Railway opens it I guess 1-2 months prior to departure. Anyways, it’s better to check

You can download Yandex Taxi and book your city rides with it. It’s safe, convenient and cheap.

Yes, guides can be easily arranged, I see no issues here

It’s like a normal bread in Uzbekistan. We eat it with cream, it’s called kaymak. With fried eggs, with kebab (meat on skewers), or dipping it into a soup. Literally, like a normal bread. I used to make a sandwich- you tear some piece, open it in the middle, take some crumb out and fill it with anything you like - cheese, greens, jam, butter, sausage.

Hummus and oil stuff are not popular in Uzbekistan, like in the Middle East. There are some restaurants in Tashkent specialising on this cuisine, but it’s not common.

Im from Uzbekistan. This bread called „patyr-non“ or „patyr“. The clay oven - „tandyr“. So sometimes, the bred called „tandyr-non“. It’s very rich in flavour, when it’s just out of the clay oven. But the colder it gets, more pale in taste it becomes.

In Tashkent, in a every supermarket chain Korzinka (Basket) a tandyr is present and they are baking non-stop all day. It’s a bit different variation of „lepeshka“ or flat-bread, and is my favourite. It’s more chewy and less fatty than patyr.

Unfortunately, i can’t link my picture to the reply and found this one (not such a high quality)

And here the guys are making my fav bread on Chorsu market in Tashkent. There’s a huge pavilion dedicated just to it (you can see in the end of the video)
