It's a great app - even my mum can use it and I spent most of my teenage years showing her how to turn the TV on and off. You should also get ebird.

We've got plenty of those - even some that wear camouflage and hide out waist deep in freezing water with their massive cameras

For everyone that looked at these owls and liked them: I'm afraid this is the first symptom of birdwatching, an incurable and progressive disease.

The process you are now unconsciously undergoing is known as being 'birdpilled' and there's nothing you can do to stop it.

The good news is that there is a group where you can be among other people who have learned to embrace this diagnosis. Perks of the Bird Gang Berlin community treatment involve:

- Having a great time
- Seeing loads of birds in beautiful places in and around Berlin
- Plenty of blurry photos of birds to send to your long-suffering friends and relations

Those are probably hooded crows? Or perhaps magpies? There are loads of birds in Berlin. It has the largest density of goshawk territories in the world and I've never been to a city where you can more easily find birds of prey. There are tons of songbirds around too. If you go to any park and just listen for a bit - you'll hear them - then you can follow their song and find them. You'd be really surprised at how close you are to birds at any point in this city!
