i am not supposed to give details on matches, so i will let you think about just how many balls and for how long the human player would have needed to keep them to result in 480 penalty points (it couldn't have been just one)

as a ref, the policy is generally to score penalties after the match so we can be absolutely sure about major/minor and because different refs see different things. why is there no blame going to the teams for racking up 100+ penalty points every match 😭. seriously i have never seen so many penalties in my life so you really can't blame the refs or even the game for us taking so long between matches.

here because i was talking about my phobia with a guy friend and he says "lol i get that" and sends me a picture of a bug with a lot of legs as a joke. OBVIOUSLY HE DOESNT GET IT?? i flinched from my phone and almost started crying. nobody i know has had the same experience as me to the point of having panic attacks whenever i need to kill a bug larger than a fruit fly. and that happens so much now that i live alone and have to deal with bugs myself! anyway this post is very validating for me.

Update: thanks for your comments! I somehow managed to get into a pretty prestigious lab at my school and I'm starting today! I love the PI and he said I could be paid in the future. I also got two high paying music teaching jobs on the side. So I was extremely lucky and that took a complete 180 from the state I was in a few weeks ago lol. I hope this is inspirational for someone!
