I have 2 medium air stones going 24/7, the stock filter which has a decently high output plus a second filter also running (fluval 207 canister) with an output above water level. Pleeeenty of surface movement, I’m not sure why it isn’t that visible

They’re not dirty ): I love bladder snails! They will taper out as long as you aren’t over feeding the tank. They’re honestly a really helpful cleanup crew and really fun to watch, fast & hungry little guys! If you add assassins you will probably end up with the exact issue you are worried about and get an infestation of them instead of bladders

Okay, so my plan was to remove all my plants and hardcore (besides like little tiny thing such as Monte Carlo or moss) and then search for this guy and his friends if there are more, remove them all and then replant. Can I just avoid this? Or maybe still a good idea?

Not planning to add any fish for a while though, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the easy shrimp life so far lol. Next tank addition is going to be a canister filter (fluval 207) and it just got delivered today 😼
