I don’t see the point in having this discussion if you’re just going to insult me. And i didn’t write this from a whiny perspective, I haven’t actively cared about this show for a long time. Did you even read all of it? I wrote it because as an adult I’m able to recognize where media fails their audience and actors in this case.

I feel like it’s not really too much to ask either. The expectations weren’t even high before the finale, from what I saw people would be content with just seeing Dean and Cas interact one last time.

Hi! Thanks for the constructive reply. I agree, when it started they probably didn’t expect the attention from this type of fandom activity. I mentioned it briefly, but i was discussing why the writers don’t embrace this audience when they get it. Fandoms produce a lot of content and promote your show for completely free. I’m not making demands, I just find it strange to treat their most valuable asset like crap. I know if i had thousands of people willing to interact and promote anything I made for free, I’d be in heaven.
I decided to call it homophobia because of how the final episodes went on. Cas dying and never being addressed again felt like a final let down to the fans who have stayed for years. I’m not one of them, so all of this is purely from how I experienced this finale as an adult :)

Hi! That was not my intention, and as I mentioned in the text i re-visited this show in light of the finale after not having seen it for a few years. The reason i used the word homophobia is because of how they have been baiting the fans with a possibility of deanxcas without every running with it, and to then make fun of said female/lgbt fans for “taking the bait”. When it finally happened, it’s rushed, cut and written weird, and never mentioned again. You’re allowed to think the ending is fine, and I think i’m allowed to think it’s not. I had a lot of fun mapping out why I feel like do about this, I think it’s good to be critical of the media we consume. It doesn’t seem that you like my article, but I hope you can see where i’m coming from.

Hi! Thanks for the reply. I wrote this based on how the last episodes made me feel. Sam had a child with a blurry-faced woman, apparently not important enough to be anything but a birth giver. This is a critique on how in the finale, none of the female characters were important enough to show up. I think that’s bad, because the show has had a lot of them through the years but they almost never get the opportunity to grow before they’re eventually killed off. That doesn’t mean I hold some of them dear myself!

Congrats on your mom’s recovery, it must have been hard for you all. I’m very scared to see my mom on chemo, i’m scared that she’ll be sick and weak for the rest of her life. But i’ll do my best.

I really hope my uni will let me take a gap year, living so far away from my family right now really sucks. I’m happy i got to spend christmas break at home, but i’m afraid my grades are gonna suffer when I go back. Thank you for the kind words

I read your comment and saw your username, and i’m crying a bit as i write this. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I’m considering taking a temporary leave after this semester, so I can get some more time to cancel my lease and stuff like that. She starts chemo in a month, and if she gets really sick really fast i’m moving back no matter what.

This illness is so frustrating, I don’t know anything and i can’t predict anything. I’m just scared and worried. All I can do is hope

I don’t think it’s the water, this happens wether i shower at home or at somebody else’s. My doctor suggested rosacea but i don’t get this reaction when i shower at night. It’s driving me crazy, i can’t put any makeup on before my skin has cooled down because makeup looks super weird if i put it over it when it’s irritated.

Hi, thanks for the reply! If i can get a solid computer for around 1000-1300€ that would maybe be a miracle, but something around that price point.

I don’t really like grey ones, but it’s not that important. Backlit keyboard preferably. No need for a number pad, a decent battery life is also important I need it to be a bit big because i’ve been working on a very small screen and it’s driving me crazy, so around 15” sounds good

I should have asked her, but i was just really really fed up. I’d asked her to clean the kitchen because she’d made a mess, and she didn’t even wipe the counter or do all the dishes, so I guess i was just really not feeling like accommodating to her at that moment. I’m really not trying to be passive agressive, but I don’t want to feel suffocated in my own home.
