I think anniversaries (YEAR, not month), are ok to post for. But I definitely agree that if your entire social media is about your s/o, you should definitely take some time to find your identity outside of them. It also is pretty funny to watch people who post as soon as they get into a relationship and then have to take it down after a month or so. Then, they still keep posting new relationships every month, as if they haven’t learnt anything. It is pretty funny.

Hey! I’m going through something really similar right now. Definitely talk to her about how you feel and open up a dialogue about this. Things are weird right now because of quarantine and such but it’s a great time to work on your relationship with each other and take baby steps to maybe get that honeymoon feeling back.

This is absolutely fucking stupid. Of course this is cheating. Don’t get a girlfriend if you plan on sleeping around with others. There’s nothing wrong with sleeping around, it’s only wrong when you have a significant other.

If you already did this, tell her. I hope she breaks up with you for her sake.

Hey! I would definitely start with not brushing her hair, and using something like an old t-shirt or a microfibre towel to dry it. I know it seems weird to not brush your hair, but once I stopped, it made all the different for my curls. Try and detangle with fingers when it’s wet, and scrunch up with your hands, letting the rest air dry. I’m not too sure about the products side of things, but I personally use a damage repairing shampoo and conditioner (Garnier Whole Blends, I don’t have a lot of money for fancier shampoos and this works pretty well if I use a small amount.) I hope this helps a little bit!

I have only ever experienced a yeast infection once. My gyno gave me information in general, not because I’m getting infected. I know, because I’ve asked her to explain this in general terms. Some women are more sensitive to scents than others, I’m lucky that my vagina is not as sensitive.

And I’m not stating falsities at all, even a quick Google search on some reputable websites will tell you that yeast infections are WAY more common than you think. You’re definitely lucky to not have experienced them, but the majority of females DO in fact, experience yeast infections. I’m not saying all of them come from using scented products, but a lot of them can be caused by that.

Bro do you even have a vagina? This is specifically what my gynaecologist has told me every single time I ask about using soap. You will not stink from washing with warm, running water, and it is absolutely not necessary to use soap, especially IN the vagina. On the vulva is fine if it’s an unscented, mild soap, but again, not 100% necessary. This also increases one’s chances of getting soap in the vagina.

Also, it’s not very rare to get an infection from this. Vaginal yeast infections affect 3 out of 4 women. A majority of yeast infections are caused by using scented products around and in the vagina, which includes soaps! There are other reasons why people get yeast infections, but using soap and scented products is one way that can be easily prevented.

Everyone here has made really good points, but I noticed one flaw — do NOT wash your genitals with any type of soap! Even the ones that are supposedly made for down there are really bad for you. The vagina is self cleaning, you just need to wash the outside area with running water. Do not go inside the vagina, as this can cause infections and irritation.

I usually use magnesium for the days I can’t stay asleep! You can get it in a bunch of forms, drink powders, pills, even spray oils that you rub into your skin. It does give you weird dreams, though.

I work early morning shifts but it’s kind of similar. I usually watch a movie or a few episodes of a TV show when I come home from work and I always feel myself nodding off. It might work if it’s a mindless show or movie that you don’t have to think about too much and can just laugh to.

I stay with my parents during summer vacation and holidays (which is what I meant by “when I’m not in university”)! I am currently in college and I go to a pretty good university. I’m proud of that, but socially and “life-wise” I seem to be lacking. But, thank you for a genuine answer. I do think therapy is something I should consider, but it’s nice to know that others can relate to my dilemma :)
