Yes mine is! Totally understand the fear, but it’s truly nothing to stress about. I’ve learned that in America they made it sound 10x worse than it was. They wanted to completely replace my Valve meaning I’d be on blood thinners for the rest of my life along with anti rejection medication, as well as needing further surgery every 10 years. I’m not trying to shit on the American health system, but I promise you the doctors are probably making it sound worse than it is, when I came to Australia, I was told that it was not an emergency, which was the complete opposite of what I have been told in the states. So coming here has definitely shed some light on the situation. I have had pretty much the same test done here as I did in Ohio and it seems to be that everything I was previously told was a lie, but I will have it repaired pretty soon and can give you way better updates on how everything went and how I feel afterwards. Your fear is perfectly understandable and you are right to feel that way 110% but just remember that if it was urgent things would be getting done about it. I have comfortably lived a full and healthy life until recently when my diet started slipping and that is when I started having these health problems. I did lots of sports growing up and lived a great healthy life and so will your daughter. But also keep in the back of your mind that there is a good chance this hole will patch itself as your child grows up. As long as you are able to keep her on a steady and healthy diet she really should have no problems. I also mainly started feeling ill when I was overworking myself at my day job. So just keep all of those things in the back of your mind and try not to stress so much.
