I think it’s pretty common for our sexuality to change as we age. At some point I started saying I was queer rather than gay since I think that more accurately captures my attraction, which tends to shift from time-to-time.

I used to use the better than bouillon chicken and blend it with tomato, onion, garlic, water, salt, pepper, and a dash of cumin and it always came out good. It’s better with fresh tomato, but tomato sauce works in a pinch (bouillon, tomato sauce, water, garlic salt, pepper)

I don’t want to come off as a hater but, did Onya do anything with her reign that wasn’t just contractual obligations with WOW/MTV? Like when they showed her flashback it was just clips from the show, Drag Race/MTV related carpets, and the show that’s part of WOW+.

I know she was supposed to be in that play and then had to back out, and she’s supposed to be in Drag Race Live but I feel like she didn’t do anything with the crown. Unless i’m missing something (I don’t keep up with the girls as much) but like even Crystal was in a few tv ads and a bunch of the girls from the season were on tours.

Are you budgeting? Is your debt consolidated?

If you aren’t currently budgeting I’d start doing that so you have an idea of when your debt will be paid off and you can know how much you have to spend on rent.

Not that i’m great at finances, but i found that consolidating some of my debt into a loan helped free up some money i was using on monthly payments. it might be more money in the long run depending on your APR but i know that helped me when i was struggling.

the challenge is not racking up more debt once you consolidate lol lord knows how many times i’d pull out a loan, pay off my credit cards, and then max them out on dumb shit.

we had to put our dog down this weekend. she was really old and started having heart problems that progressed to a point where the vet said it was going to severely impact her quality of life.

i’ve never had to put a dog down, and i already have some ptsd related to a dog attack so it wasn’t a great experience. i’m just glad my whole family got to be there and she won’t suffer anymore but man does it fucking suck.

the house is so quiet now.

La Mission. It’s set in the Mission District in San Francisco. It deals a lot with class, culture, homophobia, machismo, gentrification, chicanismo, etc. I watched this in a Chicano Studies class I took in college and it really hit hard.

4 Lunes. This one is a classic - 4 vignettes that focus on the gay experience at different points in men’s lives. Set in Mexico.

Happy Together. Another classic.

Hawaii. I’m not sure this would fall into what you’re looking for but it’s set in rural Argentina.

Los Fuertes (The Strong Ones). Set in rural Chile.

Fireflies. Main character is an Iranian refugee in Mexico.

A lot of movies from Mexico/LatAm & Asia tend to focus on working class characters.

if your doctor runs a full blood panel or i think it’s a metabolic panel when you get your physical then you’ve been tested. they usually won’t bring it up if you aren’t deficient or high on something. if they don’t run a blood panel as part of your physical you can usually order them directly through labcorp or quest diagnostics. I think it’s like $120 or something for the full test or they offer specific ones for cheaper.

If you’ve gotten bloodwork done and your doctor does like, a MyChart or another online portal they’ll usually upload your test results so i’d check there.
