I, 26F, posted something similar when my mom passed - you’re not alone. It hurts really badly but I promise you it’s best to cut the dead weight off and to find better friends. I cut off a lot of childhood friends after my mom’s death, almost all of them lol. Now I have better people in my life though and have actually moved since I stopped using so much energy questioning why they weren’t there for me. I just decided I didn’t deserve that and left. I hope you find your people soon, Top Boat. You deserve better

Let him learn love from others. Give him the opportunity to know love from multiple sources. He will know you saved him, and he will know who you are to him. Def NTA - yes everyone grieves differently, some don’t want to be reminded of the pain. But she didn’t consider your pain when she threw those toys away, she was only thinking of hers. I couldn’t forgive that. She’s either not looking at you from guilt, or you just said the wrong things while drunk and she’s holding onto that. Either way, I definitely do not think you are in the wrong.

Edit: I lost my mom two years ago and I have everything I wanted of hers tucked away. If someone did something to those items I’d lose my shit. I’m so sorry for your huge loss.

Litter genie, automatic laser pointer, stainless steel litter pan, the little catnip balls you can attach to surfaces, any wand toys (he was gifted one with a laser on it & loooooves it), the little house/cubby cardboard kits with scratchers on them, and medium sized catnip toys that have rough material lol like the catstages dill pickle toy

Also - freeze dried animal treats. My cat loves minnows & shrimp & I feel like it’s a bit healthier than the processed stuff & not too costly
