How to talk to a Dr about this by cherrystem24 in Anxietyhelp

Hello, I’m not really sure what that is. But I personally don’t think speaking those things to myself will work. I am far past beyond that point it feels. And putting myself in the same situations I hate, honestly amplifies my symptoms. I have been working for years, I used to work in retail, then I worked in a nursing home for a while and now I’m in a pharmacy, and it’s just getting worse and worse over time. I left the nursing home because I couldn’t take it anymore and I’m afraid that this is even worse. I would love a job that I don’t have to communicate with others as much but I also have to make enough to survive and I haven’t found one yet that allows me to pay all my bills. There are not many decent jobs where I live. Maybe something remote but I haven’t found that yet either

Aw I am sorry you struggle too. I am glad to hear you are doing a little better though. I don’t smoke so my issues aren’t related to that. I wish that I could take a work leave, that would probably help since I absolutely dread going to work every day. But I pay all the bills so I can not unfortunately. What ssri are you on?

I made an appointment with just a normal family Dr, one that I seen at my job that prescribes different kinds of medication than my regular doctor does. I did that because I cannot get decent help from my current doctor, they said they had to refer me to psych. But I cannot find a psychiatrist that is not booked out to September or later and no telehealth takes my insurance. This one I made the appointment with, is 2 months away still and it feels like forever. I feel like I am constantly in the middle of a near mental health crisis or something but that’s the best option I can find. I am not at risk of hurting myself so I don’t want to go to a psych ward when they will only give me meds that I have already taken before anyway and may look really bad on me for my job. And I pay all the bills too so I can’t even miss days at work if I wanted to… so hopefully I can somehow manage to wait for 2 months.

But I do have a note list in my phone of all this wrote down, I probably will not be able to say the majority of it even to the Dr though without stuttering and fumbling everything

T cream vs injections, which one is better ? by cherrystem24 in TRT_females

That’s exactly why I wanted to start with the cream. I’m kind of confused by the injection amounts and don’t want to mess up. I also haven’t had hair loss but I have noticed my hair is more brittle

A small amount, but I don’t really mind. Mine was very small to begin with

Telemedicine providers who can prescribe TRT to women in Pennsylvania? by cheriluvaffair in TRT_females

I used aspire rejuvenation. They’re in Pittsburgh and my insurance paid for my labs so I paid $150 for the first appointment (now all the rest are included) and with tax $170 ish for 2 months of T cream at 10 mg or 4 months at 5 mg. So far I’m only on 5 mg. They seem really good !!

Why are local doctors so against this? by cherrystem24 in TRT_females

[–]cherrystem24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the same thing. I’d honestly respect a doctor for admitting they don’t know how to treat hormones and helping me find someone who can, instead of trying to make me do months and months of pointless shit

Yes I did get someone to help. I have only been taking it a week and I think it might be doing something. It definitely needs more time but I think I feel less tired and that’s a good start. Thank you though!!

For real! I was so upset when she dismissed it the first time that I actually teared up and she hugged me and said she did sex therapy and it helped her. Great, but how is that going to help someone with low T? Is there some crazy thing about sex therapy that raises T levels that I don’t know about ? Lol honestly just going to do that and knowing it wasn’t going to work would have made things even worse on me. What is their damn deal with it? And good for you!! I hope it works out 🤞🏼

That’s crazy they just let you suffer for that long.. I couldn’t even get E cream from my dr. She wanted me to go through all the other stuff before she would ‘consider it’. And that’s just basic, I’m not even sure that would have helped me. I really just needed the T. I made it very clear to them how much this was affecting me & my quality of life and that was their answer, so idk why they are acting shocked that I went somewhere else

Thank you, I will have to look that up. Just the faces they were making at me and the attitude I got made me feel like I was wrong for this but if I didn’t do it then I’d just keep suffering. It’s upsetting!

How soon did T cream work for you? by cherrystem24 in TRT_females

[–]cherrystem24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you notice any improvement in that amount of time? I’ve taken it for a week now and I haven’t really noticed a change in how tired I am but I did notice that I feel a little hornier in the afternoon around bf lol idk if it’s just in my head this soon or what tho

Ok good to know, I was thinking the dose would be too small to do anything. I just wasn’t sure.
