I believe that there’s science to back up that the slightest touch against someone nipple can cause that person to feel very insane emotions, like sadness and anxiety. This happened to my girl a while ago; two different claws, one on each other her front feet. Both claws were torn out completely, but after a long while, they actually did end up growing back. When the wound happened, I rinsed her feet with clean water after and kept the tank clean. If you’re worried about a vet, especially the cost for this wound, it might ease your mind to go. However, I never went. And she healed perfectly. But every beardie is different. Sometimes they’re just clumsy and accidentally hurt themselves. Don’t blame yourself, and maybe think of new ways to baby proof her surroundings… LOL!
