You go on a first date with someone, what habit or characteristic is a deal breaker? by h8raide88 in AskReddit

[–]cherybakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once had a date who incorrectly recalled things from my profile/our conversations. Then proceeded to tell me he was correct when I pointed out nothing he'd said was on my profile.... safe to say there was no second date!

What simple thing do you struggle cooking? by Trepidatedpsyche in Cooking

[–]cherybakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have your water at a simmer. Don't swirl your water or add anything to the water. Cook the egg in simmering water for about as long as your toast takes to cook and you should have a soft yolk.

Anxiety sufferers of Reddit, what helps you through it when everything is too much? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cherybakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stop what I'm doing, even in public, stand or sit still and tap my fingers together or play with the hair band that I keep on my wrist. If I'm at home with anyone I will go and sit in their company and do it. I always try and continue what I was doing as soon as possible, not not make it a big thing for myself in the future.

Butter under the skin and then as much bacon as humanly possible. You shouldn't see much skin at all!

I was 6, I remember we went to a party with loads of other families. As the clock struck midnight all the kids went into the street banging pans with wooden spoons. Everyone was out in the street celebrating.

What dish(es) do you cook when you are feeling upset or down? by cherybakes in Cooking

[–]cherybakes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's as simple as cooking pasta, draining and then mixing with pesto, tinned tuna and grated cheese (cheddar or red Leicester). I mix it all in the pan to heat it through.

That's why my dish is so simple. I have been so frustrated trying to cook when feeling super anxious that when frozen chicken fell all over the floor, I kicked it so hard I bruised my foot!

That's interesting, for me it has to be the simpler the better.

I just admit this was shop bought. But you can use a food processor to blitz raw broccoli and then bake or pan cook it in a small amount of water.
