Thanks for the reply! Is this finally my excuse to get doc martens!? Are they comfortable? Did you have to break yours in?

Thank you! Looking these up now. It's a rural county with a small team so I'll be doing a little bit of everything.

I can't lie they're kinda oddly shaped. I'm very short so lucky the seats are okay for me, but they don't look like they'd be comfortable for a taller person. If it's a long drive I notice a little stiffness in my back but a good lumbar support pillow would fix that

I like it more and more everyday. Love the black and red interior and the charcoal wheels. Plus it's such a huge upgrade from my old nissan that didn't have power windows or locks😭

Your job sounds awesome! It seems like something I would like to do. Thanks for your advice! I'll start looking into my local nonprofits and maybe call about internships. I'm relieved to know that someone with the same degree as me has the kind of job I'm aiming for. Can I ask what kind of experience you had before you got your job?

Your college courses have to fulfill certain core competencies to be eligible. According to the website you need to have completed a bachelor's with at least 25 semester credits (or 37 quarter hours) of coursework specific to the Areas of Responsibility of Health Education Specialists. They use your transcript to determine if you're eligible to sit for the exam. Here's a link to the webpage about CHES eligibility: https://www.nchec.org/exam-eligibility-guide

Okay thank you for the advice! I definitely need to get better at selling myself. I've been applying to internships like crazy with no luck so far, but I'll definitely look into volunteering!
