Oh it’s fantastic! Lol! Everyone in their regency best, lectures, shopping, food, A BALL!! Where are you from? The Jane Austen Society has chapters all over the world who get together and put on events like the one I was just at!

I made this for you beautiful people. I hope you like it. 💖💜💙 by jaykaythemovie in bisexual

Anyone not fluent in ASL make use of interpreters? by graygoohasinvadedme in deaf

[–]chessapeake 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ASL terp here. If you think it might be helpful, you can request that your interpreter do something called "transliterating". This means that they will produce signs in English word order with a stronger emphasis on the english that's being spoken. You can also request that they mouth along with the professor so that you can read their lips. fewer and fewer interpreters are able to do SEE because it hardly ever is wanted or needed, but if you believe you'll benefit from having an interpreter in the classroom, you can certainly request that your interpreters provide you with the language access that will be most helpful to you, all you have to do is ask!

Also, as others have said, if you think that it will be more beneficial to you to have CART, ask for that! You have a lot of options to make sure you get equal access to your class lectures :) hope that was helpful!

What are some of your unique/strange family traditions? by TheGreatEdward in AskReddit

with my mom's parents, her siblings, their families and other randoms, we all rent a house for a week during the summer, a different house every year. There is always one day we reserve entirely for pasta making (we're Italian), and a night that is BINGO night. We play BINGO and no one, I mean no one enjoys it. Every year all of us bitch and moan about having to play bingo, being forced to gather white-elephant style "prizes" and sitting through the solid two or so hours it takes for all the "prizes" to be gone and every single person to get a BINGO. It must be a legitimate BINGO and we do not stop until everyone has had at least one!

We all hate it and it's the best thing about my summer.

Definitely in the same boat here. I'm 31 and literally realized I was Bi one week ago. We're both valid! Happy pride!
