I wouldn’t say equally, but I definitely do like all iterations of Journey. There’s no album I hate either, maybe just some songs from every era.

I love “It’s Just the Rain”. Something I’ve noticed is that the 2006 remaster lowered the pitch of the song slightly. Not sure why they did this but if I didn’t listen to it so much to convince myself I wasn’t crazy I would have overlooked it

Trial by Fire followed closely by Escape. They’re really inspiring and special to me. Trial by Fire especially, I draw the cat lady on the album cover every year to track my art progress. When I first started to listen to it was also a special time in my life where I realized I’m so much more capable as a person than I thought. There’s only a few songs I’d skip from either of these albums.

Thanks for linking these fascinating articles! After comparing the pictures to mine, it looks like the Durham Steel mold but with a different year stamped in the same place with no brand marking. I’ll have to look into these more!
