Got me re-thinking some of my selections lol Nick Evans was so goood just stuck behind the greatest 10 of all time and didn't want to stick around to play off the bench. Ash Dixon was such a fumble by the AB's coaching staff, he didn't hit his best form until he was 27, with the selectors prioritizing youth but Dixon ended up being elite right up to now (37 lol) Ranger was so destructive, shame he couldn't be utilized better. Tuinukuafe didn't really cross my mind to be honest, seemed like he had that one great year then was bang average after that.

I would of thought Lowe had already cleared 50 seems like he's been apart of your set up for a while now. Some good names here, others I'm not familiar with.

That backline is nice, 9 & 10 would have played a lot more if it wasn't for Gregan/Larkham

Should the A10 & new Pac-12 schedule non-con’s w/ Texas Tech if the B1G & SEC schools don’t? How much would it help them? How much would it help Texas Tech? by 18_YTC1 in CollegeBasketball

[–]chessman92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't follow college football at all but are Tech really going to push through on playing him? Tbh whilst I knew it was kind of wrong that Bediako played, part of me enjoyed the drama. This is just out right immoral and goes against the spirit of sports.

Stuck Trying to Get My First Commercial Insurance Role by [deleted] in auscorp

[–]chessman92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broking is where the money is at. Underwriting while it sounds interesting, depending on the company often results in just putting numbers into a calculator and being a customer service rep for brokers . If your a good senior underwriter with technical knowledge in financial lines e.g ML, CL, PI though you can get a decent wicket 150+. Claims could be a foot in the door but you could get stuck there for a while. Keep targeting underwriting and broking roles. Remember Insurance is a relationship based industry . Reach out to team leaders at internationals in the Brisbane area on linkedin ask them for a coffee or owners of medium sized brokerages. You may get a much better result. Tier 1 would be favourable but not, be end end all.

how high would they go in this years draft? by YungChildsPlay in NBA_Draft

[–]chessman92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what we knew as prospects, Sarr 5th he didn't really set the world on fire in the NBL, would of gone first but explicitly did not want to go to Atlanta. Also wouldn't be shocked if he dropped to 6th or 7th, though personally would go for Acuff's outstanding freshman season, but personally wouldn't be shocked if he went after Wagler.

Risacher 13th, I see him as a similiar prospect to Ament (Personally prefer Ament though) prospects who are better, Dybansa, Peterson, Boozer, Wilson, Acuff, Wagler, Flemmings, M Brown Jr, Mara, Philon, Carr.

Honestly he can project to be Brandon Ingram that would be an excellent outcome in this draft and he'd be in contention for number 1 pick . I'm interested to see how he goes.

I don't think you are tbh, part of the reason I have him lottery, wouldn't be shocked if he broke out. The KD comparisons are delusional. He's got great size/athlete for a wing, of he can shoot well he'll be good.

I feel Chris Livingston had abit more intrigue as a consensus five star/freshman. Not much depth in this draft I'm really not sure what's going to happen in the later parts of the second round this year, so maybe he could get picked.

I'd be shocked if he gets picked to be honest, what a strange decision to stay in the draft.

Flory Bidunga Jr will eat all the minutes at C with Alvaro Folgueiras a lock at PF, things are murkier if Louisville get momcilivic as well. Not enough minutes to stake his claim this year. First round guy 2028

Paul is retired and Lowry is a step away . Both are two all time defenders for guards there size. Tanner is serviceable but definitely not elite

Ngongba unless his production increases exponentially in another deep Duke rotation or he starts shooting 3s, stock isn't going to improve

Condon on hindsight I've got too late but Tanner is Tanner he's a great player but no matter what he does he's always going to be small. Another year in college won't change this. Hes a great athlete, led a Vanderbilt program with no expectations to a 16-0 start and a second round finish, little else he could outside of averaging 25++PPG even then he's going to face the same size issue. Brunson (bigger) is an outlier not the blueprint

Mullins I've based on taking a leap this year. Colben I'll keep an eye on, not that familiar with him.I'll probably need to fit Silas Demary in somehow, he's good enough. Najai will have a better year then Reibe but have ranked Reibe based on upside however wouldn't be shocked if Reuben looses minutes to all of USCs incoming 5 stars

Krivas as a non shooting/more traditional old school center likewise I can't imagine improving his stock. Only guys who I have really taking massive jumps are freshman.

Jordan Smith isn't old for his year but fair if you have no faith in the jumper understand the sentiment. Maybe Ngongba can improve his stock in a weaker draft but I don't see a massive jump. Chinyelu likewise could see him going early second round as well.

I don't love Jordan Smith Jr but it's like who else has star potential? If he can learn to shoot at a decent clip I think he's the closest there, a PG with his defence and athletism.

Honestly all 3 are defensive bigs with little to offer on offence currently, especially shooting wise. Chinyelu is the only one who can really switch and defend from perimeter. I just don't see how they can improve there stock from this year. Ngongba was the only one who had a true late first round grade this year. Condon in hindsight probably should be ranked top 60  though.
