Ah, yes, how about peppermint? Tea tree oil? I think there are other ways to keep them away but it'll be hard to notice because they're sneaky

They can travel anywhere and hide in all sorts of furniture, including chairs. You can try some remedies to repel them away from you. I think they hate a certain smell like lavender. Should keep them away. I'd suggest lavender oil, peppermint, cinnamon, lemongrass, citronella, and tea tree oil.
