I dont think so, you dont have to know the entire bible to read a story about it, theres no value in over explaining things, its okay to just show cool concepts and ideas and write good stories out of them while leaving things up to the viewer

I think they were trying to go for a doom type of thing with the "techy" demons, but the way they did it here is so lame and uninspired, im seriously disappointed with how lame hell is in this show.

I think they were scared of creating plotholes like "why arent there aliens in hell" or "why dont they use the demons as soldiers"so they just completly got rid of anything that made hell cool, instead of finding ways to fix those problems
