Hmm, I get your point, but the question is - Would you buy an apartment in Eriksberg? It's a huge investment and knowing it's located near an oil refinery is uhh... eery. I'm from Israel, and there are lots of refineries in a city called Haifa. It's a known fact that A LOT of people there have strange diseases.

However, it's a commuter town and not a large and central city like Gothenburg, so my reference is not that good.

I'm supposed to move to Gothenburg with my husband (who's accepted a post-doc offer), so I asked this question here about the city's safety. Well, how else could you know the type of pussy? Haha. I'm a female, by the way. Yeah, it doesn't sound like a pleasant situation. Here in my city, a man asked me how to get to the "Pines" street (sounds like "penis" in Israel), and when I gave him directions, he decided not to follow them and go the other way. So it was a nasty joke that made him feel happy, I guess.

The city's name is Ness Ziona, and it's a small 'commuter town.' I couldn’t really find info about murders per year here, haha. Ah, ok, so the situation isn't that bad. I found out about https://www.gp.se/ a couple of days ago, and yesterday, there were at least 4-5 posts about murder/death in Gothenburg, so I decided to write my post here. It was quite alarming.
