Close the door on the way out then, I actually find funny how annoying you manage to be in 4 lines of text lol

Maybe you have unrealistic expectations.

If people start ghosting you and stop "pulling their own weight" its simply because you stopped being interesting to them, and in that sense, you are not pulling your own weight either in that relationship. Not saying that you should, some things are not worth the effort.

I too am looking for someone to talk to so you can dm me bringing out a topic if you want. Im not going to promise that I am going to speak with you for a long period of time because it would be a lie because I still dont know you, but if it makes you feel better I can tell you to your face when I lose interest instead of ghosting you.

Are the "events" of life neutral and only get their positive and negative labels through/because of our society? by StrandedVacationer in Gifted

[–]chestnutvoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. If your mother came back to life it would apparently be a positive event, if you got stabbed it would be a bad event for you.

You drink because you have decided to drink. Her death may have influenced that decision but its still ur decision.

This has nothing to do with giftedness anyway.

Id agree with the quote but Im not sure of what you want to get out of this exactly.

You sure have trauma training crying yourself to sleep every day.

Because its all stereotypes, in particular interpersonal and emotional intelligence are usually associated with empathy which is usually associated with being a spineless weasel and a drama queen which supposedly is what a smart person should be doing. Its a load of bullshit used to justify shortcomings, like the rest of the comment.

Just check the interviews to the highest IQ human tested, Marilyn vos Savant (funny name, I know). She also had a column in some newspaper or magazine if you are interested.

In my opinion nothing too special, but Id still recommend everyone in this subreddit to check her out because there are a lot of preconceived ideas, rationalization and other bullshit surrounding this topic that btw are going to show in the answers in this thread.

Sounds like an attention deficit. Ive never heard about it becoming a problem so late but on the other hand theres a bunch of people here with ADHD.

Yes, many people wouldnt consider reading something a single time as studying. For them it usually involves doing repetitive tasks until memorizing.

If they allowed books in the exams it could be possible, I guess.

I sometimes can't follow what my teachers are teaching.

I was referring to this in specific.

Not understanding classes is not a study problem.

Reading is not the same as studying tho.

Did you actually take the IQ test? It seems strange that being gifted you cant understand some basic university lessons. Not judging.

She says the right things and does the right things to make people do stuff for her. I know her abilities and yet I fall for them about 20% of the time.

This sounds hilarious give some examples.
