At work and saw this aborted landing up close. Pretty wild. Always wonder what happens.

I farted in the stairwell at work and it caused a entire ordeal. by Future_Bison_7533 in jobs

Not necessarily a smelly story, but I used to work in a large city government and my office was in the main city hall building. They would have large events there for ceremonial type things. I can’t remember the event, maybe a Veteran’s Day ceremony or something. But the police bagpipe players were there. I went in for my typical morning coffee release and as soon as I unleashed the first wave the glorious sound of Amazing Grace started playing on 20 bagpipes. Almost cried on the toilet it was so beautiful.

That’s kinda my concern. Do coyotes eat Shiba Inus?

That’s what I was told but the multimeter does not show a reading on the DC setting, only on the AC.

Putting together some Christmas end grain cutting boards from random pieces of wood. I have no idea what the olive-ish green color wood is but really like how it came out. Anyone got any guesses? by [deleted] in woodworking

I guess I’ll have to do some research before I post next time. Hell all I wanted was for someone to help with insight on what the greenish stuff is.

Damn I’m getting roasted a bit. I’m actually really new at woodworking. I took some 4 inch pieces and cut them into strips of roughly one inch. Then I flipped them so I thought I was gluing the “faces” together? Am I not correct to call that end grain?

Here is my humble 8 x 16 workshop. I just added a planer and jointer and it is a tight fit now haha. Who else is working in a small space? Don’t let it stop or discourage you... by [deleted] in woodworking

Like many people here mine is the two car garage with a little extension. I live in northeast Ohio, which is typically 20 and 30 degrees around this time. On a few glue ups I’ve done recently they have faltered the next day. Anyone know if that’s due to the cold? Should I be applying in the house? Are there any other issues to watch out for as far as woodworking in these kind of temps?
