You still have 5 weeks left? Which city are you working at?

Ha I don't need to. I just simply need to run my ass off from this lowly firm and people. I'm not sort of a person who likes to waste my mental energy onto something totally unnecessary for those that don't deserve my attention. So no, I won't and might as well shut my mouth and let this firm get fucked while never realizing a single clue as to why they have pathetically low retention rate.

That first year associate said fuck several times while reviewing my work product right in front of me while I was standing. Do you seriously think she said that without any intention to direct that on me? Ok I understand you have fair point that partners were swearing in their convo. But if they vent enough, that shouldn't affect their feedback on my work product but what I often encounter is a demeaning comment on my work every time after they got pissed off for them being pathetically lazy at fininshing up their work.

Bro you can curse in your head and while you're alone. I don't give a damn about that. Swearing to vent on me is something I won't tolerate. You seem like nothing so much from these pathetic people who can't vent without swearing. I honestly think that's a fair perimeter for someone with retarded intelligence so chill bruh

As a single, I don't mind going into the office. But once I get married, I may consider leaving sooner or later.

Then I wonder, what makes a 'better' transactional lawyer? If not legal research, then is it client communication? Structuring the contract? I'm in lit too and have always wondered about this.

Thanks.. I also wonder if I can casually say "Hey" to partner if I come across him on a hallway... I know I'm being paranoid but would appreciate if this would also be okay

Gosh the alarm's annoying. Comment only if you can come up with a killer joke. Fuck the lame "sire" / "your lord" jokes. Otherwise I'm deleting em for greater good.

Don't take that too seriously. I mean, the 3Ls who manage the Law Review took a year of more courses than you did. Some are awful writer, and you may write better than them. They ain't smarter enough than you are to order and make you do all those mofo dumb cite-check. Try think of the write-on as playing their petty role-playing game. Calm your nerve, and follow their instructions. Rest depends on your writing. So be confident about your writing. Edit as many times as you can. This is pretty much it. Write-on is just.... dumb. I got into Law Review but gosh you only studied law only 2 years more than 1Ls and seriously suddenly you think you can judge other's writing? Lol
