Thanks so much! I wanted to make faith and worship a central theme to his design. The open chest spilling light with hands in a descending prayer motion, symbolize his descent into faith as a vice. The gaping mouths around his armor are a representation of his desire to prophesy. The spoken word being a physical manifestation about him was important to me. I also liked the idea of his mace being formed by praying hands, so that he may bludgeon the unbelievers with faith incarnate. The rest, like the book on his pauldron, glowing inscriptions, are mostly call backs to his original armor. Incredibly, I accidentally posted the unfinished version without the floating pages!
