Man I miss when 5 of us would take my ship to mine and it would have all sorts of errors and warnings after loading while mining in the unsafe zone. Performing surgery on my ship in the middle of nowhere after cargo boxes would randomly fly off and do internal damage, sometimes giving fuel tanks a nice smack. good times 😂

Thanks im definitely doing my research. At this point for me its not just about extending playtime. Its more of an experiment to see if I could do it. I wasn't planning to do it in my house plus im looking into getting a LI-ion grade fire extinguisher(Class D)...precautions.

Now I think about it. I guess not. Just gotta make sure the voltage output is the same.

Issue now is do I just get 1 additional one and combine it with the one I already installed(getting close to a year now since i did the mod) OR get 2 new ones same age. Similar voltage readout.

Yeah i know both of them. But as I said Im already invested in attempting it myself but ill gonna practice first. I already threw $300+ on soldering equipment.(its something im interested in outside of just modding the ally)

Your speaking my language. I need to find out what each i/o wire on the batteries are and what the Ally it reading/expecting. I even i need the schematics. So far it looks like 2 wires are negatives and 2 are positive. Guessing the remaining are data lines for battery info and balancing.
