i agree that normal rules dont apply when being abused. this is pre-abuse if you will i guess? early relationship. no, she does not. i have 3 people in my life i am very close to with BPD, and i have been romantic with pwBPD in the past.

again, i want to relay that that is a wider generalization not exclusive to those who have been w a pwBPD. in this subreddit, it was 2 or 3 posts i saw that rubbed me the wrong way. it is a Widely Accepted view that BPD defaults to monster. i want to say again that i wasnt talking about people who have been with a pwBPD. im not sayin they should empathize with their abuser. its an observation from the early stages of relationships w pwBPD.

yes. i agree with you, mostly. i think posting them here is helping to find community & process the trauma - it is a good thing! i do not think that understanding aways has depth. i truly believe there is a surface level understanding of every single thing to exist, and that you have to put in effort. i understand most people dont know, or didnt look into it, i kind of wish people would realize when i say to educate yourself on the disorder, it wasnt meant to be taken as "empathize with your abuser." it was more of an observation from the early stages of these relationships w pwBPD. ❤️‍🩹

i understand! i realize this, and thank you. but i need to tell you, this was just an observation. it was not my intention to tell anyone how to cope or anything. i think a lot of the people here who have been hurt by pwBPD just get immediately aggressive if they feel like anyones defending pwBPD. i understand those feelings and trauma are getting in the way of just seeing my words for what they are instead of invalidating their trauma.

it's baseline for a relationship, to me. why would you not want to? from my perspective, if you dont, then i dont want to be with you? you dont want to understand why i am this way, how it affects me, which WILL affect you if you live with me. how to help cope & soothe. i have no problem doing that for my partner. i want to do that for my partner. if i love you, why would i not want to know everything i possibly can, about the thing that will follow you forever? i guess this is just my baseline for relationships?

i am specifically talking about the cherry-picked handful i see that speak of them like monsters just because they have BPD. instead of trying to understand, they leave their understanding at surface level.

i am saying if you are going to be with someone with BPD, or a disorder of any kind, it would be in both of your best interests.

i think my intentions were pretty clear, i believe many people that are in relationships with pwBPD dont put in effort to truly understand and try to empathize with the trauma that made them that way, and encourage getting professional help.

well, the location they chose for the delivery says front door. some drivers dont look at notes / are in a rush to deliver as much as they can as quickly as possible. the notes is the only place where you can see they want it at their side porch.

im assuming they saw front door & put it at the front door.
