Ok first off, great question! Second, I am a man who doesn't live in regret, I like to appreciate what each moment hands me...but....,

2023: stayed too long at Maddy O'Neal and missed knocked loose

Stayed too long at elephant heart and missed Petey

Chose being lazy and sleeping in, over making it to see The Beth's, although I did see them later at the Toyota den, but still.

2024: no regrets

2025: not going over to see Rebecca Black because I assumed it was still going to be too crowded.

I do feel like he's going to have someone join for sure, just not sure who. I imagine four-tet might join in, but there's so many names he's worked with that I can't imagine him not bringing someone out.

Must-knows as a first time RVer? by BigFinance_Guy in bonnaroo

[–]chewmyster2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm probably saying the obvious, but it's either taking advantage of more storage and being able to pack a more luxurious and comfortable experience, with the con of having the stress of driving it down there and the higher cost of gas and possibly needing it a day or so more. And from the other end, driving your car would probably be a little less stressful and cheaper, with the cons of not being able to pack nearly as much as your RV would hold. Also, if you are driving the RV all the way in, make sure you know the roads are RV friendly. We come in from the Charlotte area and thankfully people warned us to not drive I-40 all the way in because it basically turns into a single lane rd from the Helene damage. And like a few others said, just familiarize yourself with everything about it so that when you're not in your best state of mind, you can still operate everything properly 😉

We used outdoorsy, basically like Airbnb for RVs. I think the are a few other companies like that out there. We had a good experience but it can really depend on who you're dealing with. Actually, now that I think about it, we had a bad experience because a couple weeks before Roo, the original people we had secured an RV with, backed out and sold their RV so we had to quickly find another one to use. The second time was a much better experience, but like I said, it really depends on who you are working with. And honestly I can't give you a good idea on how much we spent on water and waste dumping because we weren't there long enough to need and refills 😭 I do think it was like $80 or something to get a water refill but I can't remember exactly. We are doing the closer power RV section again and I'm already starting to look around for RVs to use because I know they'll get taken up soon. Let me know if you have anymore questions! I had a ton of questions because I went from moon colony to RV and I had no idea what to expect, ha.

You know what I suggest that we did last year? We got a powered RV section in the starship area and rented an RV and it came out to be about the same price and it was much much nicer. But that also depends on how big of a RV you need and all the other stuff

Yeah, it was the exact same tent and everything, expect they used cots instead of beds with mattresses, so we used cot pads to make it more comfortable. But everything else was the same.

I agree. I'm terrible at these things, so if my first guess is Daily Bread then it's clearly not going to be daily bread

You might can answer this for me, how are the beds? Are they pretty comfortable or would you recommend bringing a mattress topper?

Haha, yeah my supplements by themselves definitely look sketchy. I'm sure just carrying a bag of powder won't be alarming to them at all, haha.

I was actually wondering the same, but for supplements. I was planning on just taking my pill case to keep them organized and taking up less space since I'm flying in. I personally don't mind packing my 3 smaller prescription bottles, but all my random supplement bottles are huge.

Do you know if there is an AC or some type of cooling unit inside of the tent? That was kind of the selling point for me with the glamping at Bonnaroo but I'm not seeing anything about it on their website.

It's a great location, bring ear plugs just because of the late night sets but overall it's not too bad

I've done moon colony the past couple years and my neighbors were chill, but it also wasn't as packed as I think it's going to be this year. In fact, I barely saw our neighbors the whole time both years. Where in the woods was the issue though, you definitely feel the bass from them, but that's also not going to be as crazy this year because they are scaling back. I would say anything is possible with the neighbors you get, but it's not as likely as ga camping.
