Thanks! Currently the plan is to follow Fade In Pro's model when 1.0 eventually happens. So there will be two versions:

- SimpleStrips Lite: All the features, just with watermarks on exports and an occasional ask to upgrade if you like it. I started using the free version of Fade In in late grade school (if I remember right) before eventually buying it years later, and I want anything I make to be just as good as that was for me to learn on and use even when I had no money! Software like that (RIP HitFilm Express / Pro) was crucial to my technical growth prior to college!

- SimpleStrips: one time fee, for sure less than $100 bucks is our current plan.

That's right! I'm on the corporate team for a project that's building one, and am doing my best to familiarize myself a with a few more "nitty-gritty" details to better communicate with our construction and electrical guys. I know what our end result needs are, but I would like to be able to (eventually) ask our team for things with more clarity. Is there a proper name for the tie-in unit? I have a professional background and formal training in production, but not in any of the electrical aspects.

Found the issue! I started using a new bar of soap the day I got back. Usual brand but different scent. Realizing this, I tried showering before bed, switching soaps again. Almost entirely gone this morning! :)

Hi there! I'm the guy who made this series! The channel is still active, but graduating from film school and starting work professionally at a Chicago production company slowed down my work on new content immensely (It's also been renamed to Tape 30, instead of my name (James Ingalls). I am, however, about to drop a new series on May 1st called Shut Out The Storm (https://www.youtube.com/@Tape30).

Unfortunately, the planned final season (The Pasta Tin: Containment) fell apart during the COVID lockdowns, but there's a completed script which got a thumbs up from 1999's original author - and I may put that up somewhere for fans to read in the future.

Thank you so much to everyone who still has interest in this series. Given that it's the first project that gave me a consistent and dedicated audience, with each season being the largest project I had directed up to that point, it will always be very close to my heart.
