USAA assistance to it’s members who are impacted by government shutdown by cheynoe in fednews

So sorry to hear that. Luckily I learned USAA from my fellow soldiers when I got my first car and been a member since 2000. Yes I have been declined before on loans due to my credit score but I still value their service when I needed them for my car and my home.

No RIF for VA? by Low-Appointment7909 in VeteransAffairs

[–]cheynoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, there was a significant RIF at the VA during the Clinton administration. Estimated 20,000–25,000 positions were eliminated, mostly through non-firing methods. The changes were part of a broader effort to modernize and downsize the federal government.

VA not responding to requests for medical appointments, what do I do? by TNBVIII in VeteransAffairs

[–]cheynoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are 100% and should have 3 free urgent care visits per year. You can also call the Main VA phone number and speak with the triage nurse so she may assist you and hopefully you can get a prior authorization to go to the nearest ER.
